ライブドアの戦略とは？
での状況を考察してみた。
今回は、前回の記事の訂正をした上で、ライブドアの戦略を再度、
考察したいと思う。
ライブドアの現事業において、ポータルサイト事業は中核であり、この
事業の頂点であるヤフーとの差は歴然である。ここの点について、
前回はライブドア頂点、と言い切ってしまったが、ポータルサイトの世界
において、ヤフーが独走態勢にあるのは周知の事実である。
ヤフーとの差はなんであるのか？
内容（コンテンツ力）、知名度の弱さ、という点において
圧倒的にライブドアは遅れをとっており、この致命的弱点
の補完を狙っての、今回のニッポン放送株取得、フジサンケイグループ
のコンテンツを取り込んでのポータルサイトへの活用、ここに
どうやらライブドアの目的が見え隠れしている。
堀江社長は、テレビにおいて、よく既存メディアである
「テレビはおもしろくない、よっぽどインターネットをやっている
方がおもしろいですよ。」
と豪語していたが、その肝心のポータルサイトのコンテンツ力が
他と見劣りしていると評価されては、身も蓋もない、というジレンマ
に常々頭を悩ませていたのではないかと思われる。
という事からすれば、今回の戦略は、相当前から十分な準備の元、
用意されたものであり、この戦略を完遂するか否かが、今後の
ポータルサイト戦争を占う試金石になりそうである。
